Publishing of Abstracts
All accepted abstracts will be published in the Malaysian Journal of Pathology, the official journal of the College of Pathologists, Academy of Medicine Malaysia.
Submission and Notification
All submitted abstracts will be acknowledged through email. Please note that an acknowledgement email does not indicate that the abstract has been accepted for poster presentation.
Please contact the committee at presenter@iapmd2025.com if you did not receive an acknowledgement email after the stated period.
The Abstract Review Committee will review all abstracts and evaluate them against Originality, Study Design, Study Quality, Statistical Methods, Ethical Issues, Content, and Importance/Relevance.
The accepted abstracts for participants who opted for “Either E-poster or Oral” will be further reviewed to determine the appropriate presentation format (e-poster or oral presentation).
The review's outcome will be emailed to the submitting author by the end of July 2025.
Successful abstracts will be required to prepare posters in PowerPoint format (for oral presentation) as per the guidelines.
The judges’ decisions are final.
Rules for Submission (for reference)
Before the 10th IAPMD Annual Scientific Meeting 2025, all submitted scientific materials must be original, unpublished, and not accepted for publication or presentation at another meeting.
Abstracts may be submitted on any topic relevant to Anatomical Pathology. The committee reserves the right to reject unsuitable topics.
The submitting author must register for the conference.
The author may submit a maximum of two (2) abstracts. A maximum of five (5) co-authors can be listed in each abstract.
All authors must provide their full names and institutional affiliation. The email address of the submitting author is required. Only the submitting author will be contacted by IAP-MD regarding the status of the abstract.
Before submitting the abstract, the submitting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of its content and agree to its submission.
Abstracts must be submitted as Word Documents only, in English, according to the suggested templates. Templates for original articles and case reports/series are available. Please click the link to download the abstract template
